WARRANTY POLICY
- PRISM Tech Private Limited (hereinafter referred to as “PRISM+”, ”Us”, “We, ”Our”) warrants Our products (“Product”) to be free from defects in materials or workmanship under normal use during the period as set forth in this Limited Product Warranty (“Warranty”).
- This Warranty is only valid in Singapore as delivered new in the original packaging to the original end-user purchaser (“Purchaser”), subject to the exclusions, terms and conditions. The Product is not eligible for any international Warranty service.
- If the Product requires repair, We may, at Our option and sole discretion, repair, replace or exchange it with an equivalent product or part(s) of similar technical specification that may be refurbished or new. We will retain the replaced part(s) or Product that is exchanged during service as Our property. Repaired, replaced, or exchanged parts or the Product will continue to be under Warranty for the remaining Product Warranty period (as defined in Section C) from the date of original delivery.
- Except where otherwise expressly provided, the terms and conditions of this warranty are contained exclusively herein, and no other agreement, provision or statement, regardless of the origin of the same, shall be accepted as extending, adding to, subtracting from or otherwise altering the terms of this warranty. No warranty or guarantee given by any other person, firm or corporation with respect to the Product shall be binding on PRISM+.
- The Warranty period commences on the date of original delivery. In the case where the Purchaser lost the proof-of-purchase, the Warranty period shall be deemed to have started 3 months from the date of manufacture indicated on the products or obtained from the serial number.
- Servicing is available if the Product is on mainland Singapore, Singapore islands or territories connected to mainland Singapore and accessible through roads but excluding other Singapore islands or territories.
- This Warranty does not provide coverage if the Product is situated outside of Singapore.
- This Warranty does not cover missing accessories or external parts of the Product, unless such a claim is made within two (2) days from the date of original delivery.
- Physical faults and/or defects of the Product which can reasonably be discovered through visual inspections on the date of delivery or immediately thereafter must be reported within 24 hours from the date of delivery. Failing which, no faults and/or defects will be deemed to be present at the time of delivery.
- Minor imperfections within manufacturing or design specifications that do not materially alter or affect the functionality of the Product are not considered a defect under this Warranty.
- Product is considered Out-of-Warranty based on the conditions set forth in Section B and Section C of this Warranty.
- For walk-in warranty claims, costs to transport the Product to the service center authorized by PRISM+ for service will not be borne by Us unless otherwise required by law.
- This Warranty does not cover any trade-in or top-up upgrade unless authorized by PRISM+.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, PRISM+ and Our authorized representatives shall not be in any way liable for any consequential, incidental, indirect, special, or similar damages whatsoever arising from or in connection with the use, inability to use, or performance of the Product, including without limitation loss of revenue, loss of profits, loss of opportunity, loss of business, loss of goodwill, loss of reputation, loss of use, or any associated equipment, loss of or damage to other property due to the malfunction of the Product, costs of substitute equipment, costs of recovering, reprogramming or reproducing any program or data stored in or used with a system containing within the Product, or loss, damage, corruption of data.
- PRISM+, nor Our authorized representatives guarantee that the Product will be free from loss, corruption, attack, viruses, interference, hacking, or other security intrusions, and disclaim any related liabilities. The Purchaser shall be responsible for safeguarding the Product.
- Time shall not be of the essence as Our services can be inadvertently affected by factors outside of Our control. We shall not be liable for any losses, compensation, or damages arising out of delays, loss of use, etc.
- PRISM+ reserves the right to impose service or transport charges on the Product which are outside the cover of the Warranty. We also reserve the right to decline to provide service where the Product is obsolete, no longer deemed serviceable, out-of-warranty period, or no longer replaceable for any reason.
- This Warranty shall be considered null and void if the Product has been modified by an unauthorized person or company.
- PRISM+ shall reserve the right to amend, modify or change the terms and conditions in this Warranty herein due to change(s) in the availability of services, products, and/or spare parts or for the purposes of complying with applicable policies, rules, regulations, and law, with or without notice.
B. Limitations and Exclusions
This Limited Product Warranty does not cover:
- When the Warranty Period has expired or voided.
- Any free gift(s), consumables, and accessories that may or may not be included during the time of purchase including but not limited to digital antennas for television, remote control, cables, and soundbar mounting kits.
- Non-operational, and non-functional part(s) which do not affect the functionality and operation of the Product including but not limited to ports cover, etc.
- If the Product is not in mainland Singapore or territories not connected to mainland Singapore and inaccessible through roads.
- Damage and/or malfunction of the Product including, but not limited to, excessive use outside of the intended purpose, unauthorized modification(s), improper use, improper mounting unless installed by PRISM+**, mishandling, protective film, cracked screen, scratches, improper storage, improper ventilation, negligence, tampering or abuse, corrosion, liquid damage, whether willful or not.
- Natural aging of materials, wear and tear, cracks, corrosion and physical damages including but not limited to door hinges, rubber gaskets, wheels, drawers, etc.
- Damage and/or malfunction of the Product resulting from software, sideloaded application(s) and/or program(s), VPN, virus(es), user facilitated minor adjustments and settings, external antenna, or local reception problems.
- Alteration of the proof-of-purchase or model/serial number in any way or is made illegible. (e.g. removed, defaced, altered, or tampered)
- Software, non-failure and/or non-functional issues that do not require parts exchanged, including, but not limited to, operating system, applications, reception, demonstration, training, adjustments, set-up, installations, battery change, screws tightening, short circuit, routine maintenance and servicing, periodic checkups, cleaning, checking for improper operation or incorrect use.
- Damage, fault or failure due to alteration or repairs made by anyone other than us and/or our authorized service provider, or the use of supplies and accessories other than those manufactured by Us.
- Damage and/or malfunction resulted from the abuse of the product or by environmental conditions including, but not limited to, dust, animals, insect, foreign object, power surge, unusual voltage, fire, natural disaster, rain, flood, etc.
- Cosmetic defects include, but not limited to, scratches, rust, dirt, stains, dents, etc.
- Damages caused by connecting non-recommended peripherals, and additional equipment or accessories in the user manual.
- Products that have image retention are not covered as it is temporary: they will go off naturally in time.
- Compatibility issues with external devices including but not limited to soundbars, TV boxes, speakers, etc.
- Screen Burn-In is not covered as it is classified as user-induced damage (such as keeping the TV on extended duration with static images being displayed as it is recommended to keep the screen off or on screen-saver when the Purchaser is not using it).
- Application(s), operating system, feature, function, and/or program(s) that have been made unavailable by the developer(s) or Google; not intended or available for use in Singapore.
- Products installed at places where the air is exposed to the hazardous condition such as chemical fumes
- When the product is not reasonably accessible or cannot be safely accessed by a service technician as determined by PRISM+ including but not limited to when the product is mounted higher than 180cm from the floor level, ceiling mount, customized cabinet, feature wall, etc. For health and safety reasons, the product must be uninstalled and placed at floor level for accessibility by the Purchaser. PRISM+ shall not be responsible or held liable for any damages to the product or consequential loss incurred.
- Maintenance of the products (e.g. general servicing, chemical overhaul)

D. TV And Soundbar Wall Mount Warranty Terms and Conditions
- PRISM Tech Private Limited (hereinafter referred to as “PRISM+”,”Us”, “We,”Our”) warrants Our products (“Product”) to be free from defects in materials or workmanship under normal use during the period as set forth in this TV and Soundbar Wall Mount Warranty Terms and Conditions ((hereinafter referred to as "Wall Mount Warranty").
- Wall Mount Warranty is only valid in Singapore as delivered new in the original packaging to the original end-user purchaser (“Purchaser”), subject to the terms and conditions. The Product is not eligible for any international warranty service
- Any repair, replacement, or exchange to the Product bracket(s) will continue to be under warranty for the remaining period from the date of original delivery subjected to the terms and conditions stated in this Warranty.
- Wall Mount Warranty is automatically void if the Product is modified in any way, improperly installed, taxed beyond Our stated weight capacity, or otherwise misused or abused.
- Wall Mount Warranty will be considered null and void if the mount is moved from the initial position of installation unless done by Us or Our authorized installer.
- All PRISM+ brackets are intended for indoor use only and any outdoor use voids this limited warranty.
- To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PRISM+ disclaims any other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose and warranties of merchantability.
- PRISM+ will not be liable for any damages whatsoever arising out of the use or inability to use Our products, even if PRISM+ has advised of the possibility of such damages.
- To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PRISM+ disclaims any responsibility for incidental or consequential damages (such as the cost of repairing or replacing other property which is damaged when the device does not work properly).
- Wall Mount Warranty does not cover third-party bracket(s) or third-party bracket(s) reposition by Us or Our authorized installer.
- Wall Mount Warranty on the installation service will automatically expire at the end of the warranty duration stated below.

E. TV and Monitor Extended Warranty Terms and Conditions
- Extended Warranty will be only applicable for customers who purchased a warranty extension package for the specific model and serial number, and will be auto-registered in Our system during the point-of-purchase.
- The extended warranty package will provide additional 2 years of warranty coverage which begins at the end of the default 3 years warranty.

F. Air Conditioners 8 Years Extended Warranty Terms and Conditions
- Customers are required to have all air conditioning units purchased with Prism+ serviced in order to be eligible for the extended warranty. Customers do not have the discretion to choose specific air conditioning units or decide the quantity of units to be serviced.
- Extended Warranty will be only applicable for customers who purchased quarterly general servicing with us. 30 days grace period will be given to schedule the general servicing with us every quarter. Any lapses will revert the extended warranty back to our standard warranty terms.
- The extended warranty package will provide additional 7 years of warranty coverage on the Fan Coil Unit and Condenser unit which begins at the end of the default 1-year warranty.
- The warranty shall not apply to individual parts or materials used for the replacement of defective parts of the air-conditioner, pursuant to this warranty.
- If the air-conditioner is defective in materials, parts, or workmanship during this applicable warranty period, we will repair or replace such defective parts free of charge, provided that the air-conditioner has been properly installed, used, and
maintained by PRISM+ authorized service provider. Whether the defective parts will be repaired or replaced, will rest solely at our discretion.

The warranty shall not apply to individual parts or materials used for normal wear and tear, condensation, corrosion, rusting or stains.

Change of Ownership that requires the transfer of warranty. The previous owner is required to write in to furnish PRISM+ personnel with the new owner's contact details and particulars. Terms and Conditions will still remain in force.

G. Ceiling Fan Warranty Terms and Conditions
- Ceiling fan warranty covers labor and transport for the first year. Subsequently, not less than $50 onsite labor and transportation fee per fan will be charged.
For corporate orders, please refer to your corporate sales agreement for warranty details. Your agreement may supersede these standard terms or offer additional benefits.

- Purchase price is derived after deducting any PRISM+ Store discounts. This excludes any platform or non-PRISM+ vouchers.

I. Smart Lock Warranty Terms and Conditions
PRISM Tech Private Limited (hereinafter referred to as “PRISM+”, ”Us”, “We", ”Our”) warrants Our Smart Lock products (“Product”) to be free from defects in materials or workmanship under normal use during the period as set forth in this Smart Lock Warranty Terms and Conditions (“Warranty”).

- The warranty period start from the date of original delivery and installation.
- This Warranty covers labour and parts, provided onsite by PRISM+ or PRISM+ authorized installers.
- The Smart Lock must be installed by PRISM+ or PRISM+ authorized installers to be eligible for this Warranty.
- The Sentinel Series Smart Locks must be used in conjunction with a spring-loaded or Hydraulic door closer to avail the Warranty.
- If a product within the warranty period fails completely, causing a lockout that cannot be resolved with a portable charger or emergency key, PRISM+ will cover the necessary troubleshooting and parts to restore the door lock's functionality.
- In cases of lockouts caused by a dead battery or the absence of an emergency key, the customer will be responsible for any troubleshooting or product replacement fees. PRISM+ is not liable for any damage to the product or the door during the lockout situation.
- For out-of-warranty issues, the customer will be charged a $50 diagnostic fee (within office hours, by appointment only). Additional labour, transport, and parts fees may be required, depending on the technician's onsite assessment.
- For emergency issues that are out-of-warranty, such as a lockout situation, PRISM+ will contact our authorised locksmith to address the problem. The locksmith will provide a quotation of not less than $150 directly to the customer, who will be liable for any diagnostic and service charges incurred and all related costs for labour and parts.
- This Warranty does not cover water damage to the Smart Lock. "Water damage" is defined as instances where the lock body has been exposed to water or installed in an area lacking adequate shelter. Additionally, damage caused by excessive direct water exposure, such as significant water spilt onto the lock, is not covered.
- This Warranty does not cover damages resulting from misuse, negligence, or self-induced actions. Customers are expected to exercise reasonable care in the use and maintenance of the product for the warranty to remain valid.
- This Warranty does not cover lockout situations whereby it was due to no battery or if the customer does not have the emergency key.
- This Warranty does not cover damage to the Sentinel Series Smart Locks if it is found that the lock was not used with a spring-loaded or Hydraulic door closer.
- Cosmetic defects that do not affect the functionality of the Smart Lock are not covered by this Warranty.
- This Warranty is only valid in Singapore and does not cover international service.
- Any modification of the Product by unauthorized persons or companies will void this Warranty.
- The terms and conditions of this Warranty are subject to change by PRISM+ without prior notice.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, PRISM+ shall not be liable for any consequential, incidental, indirect, or special damages arising from the use or inability to use the Product.
- Office hours refer to Monday to Friday between 9AM to 5.30PM, Out of Office hours refer to all other times including Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays.
