Extended Warranty FAQ
This FAQ is only applicable for customers who are eligible for the Extended Warranty with PRISM+.
What is the extended warranty?
The extended warranty package provides an additional 7 years of warranty coverage on the Fan Coil Unit and Condenser unit which begins at the end of the default 1-year warranty.
How do I get the extended warranty?
Extended Warranty will be only applicable for customers who purchased quarterly general servicing with us. 30 days grace period will be given to schedule the general servicing with us every quarter. Any lapses will revert the extended warranty back to our standard warranty terms.
Customers are required to have all air conditioning units purchased with Prism+ serviced in order to be eligible for the extended warranty. Customers do not have the discretion to choose specific air conditioning units or decide the quantity of units to be serviced.
When will my Extended Warranty Plan coverage start?
Your PRISM+ Extended Warranty Plan will start immediately upon expiry of your product's original warranty.
What faults am I protected against?
All mechanical and electrical faults that prevent your product from operating the way it was designed. The warranty shall not apply to individual parts or materials used for the replacement of defective parts of the air-conditioner, pursuant to this warranty.
What faults are not covered?
Your cover does not include any faults caused by physical damage, product misuse or using the product outside PRISM+'s guidelines. Also, it does not cover products that have incurred a fault due to electrical surges and software issues. Will my Extended Warranty be voided?
Any repair and/or service by an unauthorized repairer will render this Contract to be null and void. Any failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions on installation, operation or maintenance will render this Contract to be null and void.
How do I make a claim?
Please drop us an email at support@prismplus.sg. We operate daily from 9AM-9PM and 365 days a year.
Is the Extended Warranty Service Plan Transferrable to a second owner?
If you sell or transfer your Product to another consumer within the warranty period, you must provide the original email receipt to another consumer in order to transfer this Contract. PRISM+ reserves the right to refuse any service should the consumer be unable to provide verification upon request.
What information should I have before making a claim?
We require a copy of your product's purchase receipt. Please also have ready your product serial number, along with your personal details (name, contact information) for verification.
