With the deluge of 4K content crashing into our sensory drives - K-pop music videos, Football content, upcoming season of Better Call Saul on 4K Netflix, I had to rethink my 1440p dual monitor setup. Alas, I always dreamt of a triple monitor setup, but wondered if it was way too "extra."
But I bit the bullet, and holy sh*t was this a good decision. Got myself this behemoth of a 4K 144hz monitor with 130% sRGB at an ultra competitive price, after seeing 1.5k and above being the average price for legacy brands. What's not to love? Do use their available codes to offset the price - be it through payment partners or their own ones. Type C, Displayport, and 2 HDMI ports on the back.
No Dead pixels on this one. The PG270 Ultra centerpiece of my 3 monitor setup, flanked by a F270i pro on the left and a W270 Pro on the right.
Having 3 monitors of this quality at this combined price should be criminal. Remember those $100-$200 monitors from legacy brands that your HR would procure in the office? My third one (the W270 pro) is near in price but levels ahead in quality. Been trawling upon the PRISM+ topic on forums and I've learned to make my peace with the brand. Is it the best damn thing you can get? Probably not. But is their presence a needed one for that ultimate balance of affordability and reasonable quality in the SG Monitor consumer space? That's an important question to think about...
Cons: One more display-port jack would've been nice, but can't complain / Naming conventions kind of confusing, do rethink them.
Comes in good condition and the quality is top-notch. Worth the purchase and never regret it.
Was ecstatic to get my hands on the beauty.I’ve been enjoying the raw display of the monitor.
Was hype with this beast coming in so soon after purchase.A great addition to the my ps5 setup..highly recommended.
I purchased this as a pre-order back on 26 Nov 2021, and finally received it after some delay on 22 Jan 2022.
All in all decent picture quality. Didn't look for dead pixels but if there are any, I haven't seen it. Build quality is ok, not the most premium with plastic all around and some play/travel if you press down on it. Monitor is fairly thick at the base. The menu could be more intuitive.
I bought this as it's one of the few 4K monitors with high refresh rate and HDMI 2.1 ports, without the overly gamer aesthetic.
Overall, fairly happy with it.
