Had X300 as sim racing monitor for a few months. Upgrading to X490 Pro was a no brainer. Great for sim racing. More screen real estate for media editing. Competetive price, solid build, and great screen quality. Brand name should be Prism+++++.
During work, the monitor is wide enough to allow me split into 4 windows to compare data at the same time and yet, the font size is readable.
During game, wide and curve of the monitor give enough depth of field when I enjoying my race game and yet, is 120hz. What can I ask more with all around monitor with such cheap price !
My university only allows single monitors for e-exams. This still counts as a single monitor, right?
a little bit of both here, I've gone from two monitors down to one, quality is great, a single monitor is much better for business, I'm forever moving things around and optimizing my workspace depending on what I'm doing. gaming is excellent, the additional viewable area really help, although I need a better graphics card to fully utilise it, I'm only able to drive a max of around 75FPS right now
I am used to Gaming/Working and on a High End Monitor. Now having bought this I feel like I have 2 of them. Not all Games support Ultrawide but those that are AWESOME. Working and keeping myself entertained for those long work hours is no longer a problem Netflix on one corner of the screen and many windows on the the rest. Easy to compare 2 documents when you required to Alt-TAB in between.
