Using this monitor in BIM Modelling, and so far upon testing it Excels in 3D graphic visualization. Lines are crisp and 3D solid shading are more distinct. Colors are good to the eyes (Brightness = 50, Contrast = 45). At first I thought I’m adamant in using this monitor but after using it for few days, it gives me more confidence that this monitor is a keeper. It is a game changer for me as I able to be more efficient in my work and enjoying great visuals at the same time.
The only complain is the HDR is not certified and would make the colors washed out when enabled, but maybe there are tweaks in other settings to achieved the desired HDR capabilities. But I think this is not a deal breaker for me as far as I can utilise this monitor according to my needs.
Take note that some software’s are not compatible in ultrawide mode but you can resize the window instead to overcome this limitation. Like AutoCad when maximise to full screen, it will only occupy half of the screen in horizontal position. Revit also works in Resizing the window to desired size.
