Ordered online Sat, 22nd March 2025, but I forgotten to add my unit number.
I immediately reported thru the online chat & a case number was emailed with an agent responding soon. No one responded until Thu, I went online thru the chat & the haste began.
It was my mistake that I missed my unit number. Thank u to the recovery team, good job. I received the 40" monitor on Sat, 1 week later but it was worth the wait.
Installation on stand was easy. U need to give at least 30cm of depth from the back leg to the front.
Mac Users: Update ur OS to Sequoia to get actual resolution of the monitor & ur good for full screen resolution as a B screen (3440x1440px). I was on Monterey & kept getting 1920x1080, so resolution got stretched. So yeah, get that updated.
Colour is close to Mac, those doing colouring/printing can use the parent Mac screen for final verification. I used an HDMI cable for screen connectivity.
Watching movies & animation is good, never had a game so not able to review on that. I can easily work on multiple windows at one time & share data across easily. Menu pin at bottom center of screen easily sets ur screen settings.
Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase. Thank u Prism+!
The Prims+ PG400U Pro monitor definitely punches above its weight, offering a very high price-to-performance ratio. However, if you have a 4K display or plan to use this monitor to stream HD content in a full 21:9 aspect ratio, you might be disappointed. While the content is clear and crisp, it pales in comparison to the 4K OLED mounted above it.
Another downside is the lack of I/O ports. In 2025, a monitor of this size should come with a USB B downstream and multiple USB A ports. I use this monitor for both work and play, and it would be nice not to have to move USBs (or buy new units) to get devices to work on both machines.
Now, let's discuss the positives. This monitor is really big! Its main mission should be displaying windows side by side or one large panel for looking at stocks or crypto in multiple time frames. I originally ordered the P348 because I doubted a taller monitor could fit in the space I have (under the TV). After figuring out I could actually fit this monitor, I quickly exchanged it to have a bit more vertical screen real estate. I can confidently say this monitor fits all of my windows, making multitasking or monitoring multiple assets super easy.
I'm very happy to report Prism's amazing customer service. After a couple of calls, they picked up the P348 and brought a fresh P400, thus reducing lead time. Their CSR agent Helen was amazing, providing regular check-ins until this item was delivered. You rock, Helen!
Overall, I'm very happy with this new monitor. It's a treat to multitask with, has decent enough resolution, and Prism really took it home with the fantastic customer service. I will definitely consider Prism for my next monitor. Thanks again!
