Monitor stand was very simple to assemble. Remember to not screw in the top screw if you want 180 degree swivel!! I didn't read the manual properly and was so frustrated that the stand couldn't swivel 180 degrees.
Overall, I'm pretty happy with the product. Great value for money, great quality, looks great, and practical. Works as intended with minimal setup.
Having said that, I notice a minor design flaw. The table clamp (component F in the manual) does not cover the base plate (component E) where it attached to completely, when it's attached at the first 2 holes (for thinner table base, 10-15mm). As such, the clamp's vertical plate is a little bit on the table side, while the rest of the table side is not covered due to the gap. May not be a big deal, but I imagine this may leave a mark at the table side since its edge is pushed to the table side instead of covering it and flushed completely.
Bought the opus dual to support future monitor upgrades as they can bear more weight. These arms were extremely easy to setup and are very sturdy. Comes with the necessary spacers and screws for those wondering.
Freed up a lot of desk space and also more ergonomic as monitors can easily be adjusted to eye level
I am pleased with my purchase.
Easy to setup, sturdy construction and ease of use. It improves my posture and comfort.
Bottom most rotation angle is limited to prevent contact with wall, very useful feature as my table is placed close a wall. Arm max height is ample for standing and sitting use - I am 187cm tall. A lot of space is freed up and resulted in a neat work desk.
The farthest pivot joint has some unnecessary free play but the rest of joints are firm and rigid. USB 3.0 ports could not work as charging point when connected to power charger, only work with PC port.
Overall it is a very good quality monitor arm that does not cost an arm or a leg. Highly recommended.
I have a x340pro and a laptop henve decided to purchase this opus model. Prior to that, I had done my research and emailing Prism on the differences of various model of the arms and they gladly recommended the Opus model as it is more sturdy. TRUE enough, it is superbly stable and sturdy and best of all it able to hold the 34inch. I must say the Opus dual arm is one classy and well built one. Setting up is like a breeze. Best of all got the usb pass through which most arms don't provide.
Top Class and Awesome!!!
