Singapore's First 1200R Curvature Ultrawide Gaming Monitor
Engineered for eSports-grade performance, the X290 synergizes the best of gaming capabilities like 100Hz Refresh Rate, AMD Free-Sync (G-Sync Ready) and a market-leading 1200R Curvature Ultrawide form factor at an unprecedented price point against any big brands out there.
Liquid-Smooth 100Hz Gameplay
Experience the fluidity of 100Hz Refresh Rate where every frame is updated at a rapid pace, exhibiting motion in its smoothest and un-blurry form. A world of difference against the 60Hz counterparts, this means an edge for you in the game before it even starts.
Market-First 1200R Curvature Immersion
With 1200R Curvature, one of the most advanced degree in the market, immersion is at its absolute pinnacle. See everything on screen at the most comfortable natural viewing range of the eye.
Ultrawide Screen Estate
A 21:9 aspect ratio offers a unique form factor where it is horizontally longer. For gamers, this translates to the ability to see more on-screen – an immense advantage over the players. For regular users, multi-tasking ability and productivity is enhanced as more documents simultaneously viewed without it being too small and cramped.
Zero Screen Tearing
Say goodbye to screen-tearing forever. Built-in AMD Radeon FreeSync (G-Sync compatible) technology will help you to achieve a stable and uninterrupted gaming experience by eliminating all visual tearing and stuttering – so that you can focus on what you do best, gaming to your fullest.
Peak Color Reproduction
At a staggering 120% sRGB color gamut volume, the X290 elevates color accuracy, consistency and vibrancy to its richest. Through utilizing a breakthrough backlight display technology, we’ve set the standard for the most delightful images you can portray on a screen. A complete visual delight.
Maximum ZeroBezel Estate
End-to-end screen real estate made possible by an ultra-slim ZeroBezel design, the X290 maximizes every inch of the screen to display a fuller and much more immersive experience- particularly with its curved form factor and brilliant colors.
Commanding & Sleek Aesthetics
A gaming monitor is not just all about the technical specs – it’s also about the look. To make X290 a centerpiece on the desk, we added a unique, rarely-seen-in-market blue backlight glow to give it a cool, composed and commanding glow. A monitor never looked that great.
Instant Adaptive Modes
With the option to toggle multiple preset game modes and a movie or text mode, the X290 is ready to adapt to any work or entertainment that you throw at it to provide you with the most ideal viewing experience for the task. Amazing visuals which are versatile in any instance.
The world beyond 1920 x 1080 was lifechanging, glad to have found the Prism+ X290. Super easy setup, perfect with the arc stealth.
I recently ordered the widescreen 1xPRISM+ X290 to replace my old 23inch screen - and I must say that it has been a real GAMECHANGER to my productivity and comfort.
Given my work, I need to have multiple screens to run my spreadsheets, present on Zoom calls etc, and the X290 has allowed me to do these and more! Really grateful to have made the change.
I look forward to making more improvements to my WFH set up, perhaps with a monitor arm or an additional smaller monitor! Thanks PRISM+!
Got this on sale at S$354. Sure there's no HDR and the resolution is only 1080p, but it's also a 100Hz curved ultrawide, at a really affordable price point.
It's not colour-calibrated out of the box, and I don't do any professional colour work so I can't say much about the colour accuracy. But imo colours look great with minimal calibration required on my end to adjust the white balance. It's really bright too; even the minimum brightness is a bit much for my dimly lit study room.
I have a couple of gripes though. First, I wish the stand was height adjustable; it works fine for my desk but may be a bit too short for some. Second, the blue light on the back is so dim that it can't even be seen from the front when in a dark room, so that might be a bit of a gimmick.
Otherwise it's a solid monitor for the money. Movies in particular look great on this ultrawide display imo, even without the HDR. If you haven't had an ultrawide or a high refresh screen before, I'd say this is a pretty decent entry point. It's good for both entertainment and productivity. If you have a budget gaming rig this is also worth a look, as a 100Hz 1080p ultrawide would be a good match for a low to low-mid end graphics card.
Competition includes the LG 29WN600 (S$399 at the time of writing) which is a 29" 1080p flat ultrawide, 75Hz, but colour-calibrated and has HDR. It might be the better buy if you want the HDR or require a colour-accurate display. But for gaming, the Prism+ X290 is probably a better buy due to the higher refresh rate and curve.
Overall, I recommend this monitor.
Purchasing the X290 monitor is the right choice for me. Now, I can browse 3 different windows on 2 screens concurrently! This greatly increase my productivity!!
The monitor was delivered quickly with no external damage. The screen quality is superb for the price paid. Really value for money!
